kicked after each map !

right i hope someone can help me, cos iam getting really pissed off with this .....

at the end of each map, i get kicked from the server that i am connected to (same when i do a vid-restart), at first i thought it was the servers that i was playing on, but they all seam the same

ive been playing the test/demo since 1.05 and this as never happened to me before ...

also this is the slowest version yet (on my pc at least)

anyway if someone can help it will be appriated,

Yeah mate, this is the exact same problem I have with Q3 full : every time a map ends online, I'm right back at the menu screen, instead of going on to the next map. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

There's a bug in Q3 where if you have a model or skin (eg Horny from Dungeon Keeper) that the server _doesn't_ have then you get disconnected everytime a new level loads.

Remove any models you've added and this problem will go away.

I've got the same error, but I only installed Q3 yesterday and havent installed anything new.

I'll look intot it when I get back. Might have something to do with config changes within Q3.

Me too..I've tried installing DirectX7 and running GLsetup to install the latest TNT drivers...but I havn't tested it yet

It is a bug, it's listed as one of the things to be fixed in the first patch.

If the pak files the server is using are differnet from yours (you have extra, or it has extra) then sometimes you get kicked when a map changes.

one sec .....

i bhave the extra ctf maps in there thats probably doing it (downloaded them at work so i had them BEFORE i installed the game !)
