Seems like people all over the world are hvaing the following problem.
While playing a game of Counter Strike on the net there will be a delay or interuption from the input of either or both keyboard and mouse.
there doesnt seem to be ANY common componants, except, a keyboard a mouse, cs and XP. People are having trouble with bal, optical, usb, ps2 mice and all type of keyboards.
Would any of you XP gurus know what MAY be interupting this input - eg might be holding a key down to move laeft and use the mouse to look around, but after letting go of the key you keep moving and your mouse doesnt accept input a few moments.
So far have tried.
install intellmouse, uninstall intellimouse, turn off all 'features'
adding comand line option to game noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
We have people with standard PC and PnP OFF in bios with the MS acpi driver disabled and Nt apm lgacy instaled. AND people with a default ACPI machine.
Would any of you guys have an idea on what to enabled that could log what is happening, if it is a XP process interferring, or have a knowledge of what turn on or off?
Thousdand will appreciate any input you have.
TIA
Pete
An additional param to your hl.exe is
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
