Kernel Error

A Friend of mine is running a new PC with a not so legitimate(cough cough) Version of Windows XP Home Edition. HE keeps gettignt he following error message. Kernel Data Input Error dumping Physical Memory. He has tried reformatting but with no joy.

What does this mean and what are the best remedies

I wouldn't expect you'll get any advice here for a warez copy of windows.

If it is a warez version, and it's got problems, tough titty.

No Problems G.

I have told him to purchase a legit copy of XP and then he has all the support he needs. Some people still think it dosent cost them anything if it's free(lawful or unlawful sources)

As BigG says, we can't condone nor discuss piracy here at FH, so I suggest we close this thread and speak no more on this matter. Safe to say that such topics make great instaban material ;)
