Keepers of the light trying to fuck up a nice raid and succeding too

Bloodlust and Dragon knights were doing a separate ml 1 raid and merged around ml 1.8 (farming ruby) and agreed on killing Cetus together (so far so good).

when we enter Cetus cave we see keepers of the light, 1 of them yells to join their bg and approx 15 sec after they pull Cetus.

well we havent even had time to discuss if we joined their bg or they joined us, and i spam our bg, group chat and guildchat to join nightheart's bg (and yes not all got credit for ml 1.10 due to KOTL pulling before before we could even merge bg's.

well when Cetus died they wouldnt even let us lotto on the drops (yes i know its only ml 1.10 drops, but as we helped killing it it would be most fair to let us lotto)

all i can say is that i doubt that any Bloodlust and DK wanna group up with any KOTL, that was one nasty experience i just had with KOTL ppl.

I apologize to all people who had good intentions in name of KotL, the GM is trying to solve the issue. I would've handled things differently but it wasnt my raid. I hope this matter gets solved soon.

KOTL had alredy engaged mob and were there first if you had bothered to speak with us and not try to run past to get to cetus first we would have gladly sorted sommat out with a joint bg etc and your attitude and abuse in bg is what messed things up at the end of raid causing pl to leave bg before i had time or chance to sort things out .
to the ppl in the bg who did not get credit drops etc i apoligise here as i did in the bg it was an unfortunate mix up which got out of hand because of the immaturity and attitude of certain ppl invovled in this unfortunate incident as i stated in bg if you have a problem with kotl ingame pm me and i will gladly try to help if i can BUT if you take the attitude you did tonight and wont give me a chance to sort things then dont bother because i will not tolerate ppl with that attitude or mentality .

1 .you were at entrance when we came in and it was yelled for us to join your bg.

2. you didnt give us time to join your bg either, since you pulled Cetus 15 sec after.

and btw we did not rush past you to pull Cetus, ppl went inside Cetus Cave (not to pull).

i hope some Bloodlust or Ministry guy can come with their history, so ppl can hear the story from outside DK or KOTL.

as already stated it was a mix up i have spoken to other guilds involved and done what i can to resolve issues with them but as you have the attitude of a spoilt brat i will gladly speak with any one else from your guild to try and resolve this .

well since it couldnt be sorted in the bg at Cetus i cant see any other way than bringing this incident to Freddys.

i just wanna warn other ppl about you (not saying all KOTL is like that).

From Bloodlust's point of view we zoned into the cave to find a Kotl battlegroup buffing up. We shouted who had our bg and swam up to the rest of our bg at the ledge.
About 15 seconds later while we were trying to find out if the other bg was going to join us they all stormed past and started attacking cetus.

At this point, since no-one in our bg knew what was going on and someone yelled the name of the other bg we joined theres and helped kill cetus.

Having killed him the leader of the other bg then claimed we had run off with the drops and left the cave with all the loot.

Very disapointed that KOTL decided to run off with all the drops with zero attempt to resolve the situation at the time, even more disapointed that they tried to say we had the drops while they made their get away. Thx to those in KOTL that tried to resolve the issue afterwards. Misunderstanding happen, more so in the days of TOA greed than before.

For those from DK that missed the step, pm dejenol in game if you would like to join us for the follow on run, and thanks for what was a fun raid up until the final moments.

but this incident got me mad, and if it would happen again tomorrow i would react the same way.

its not just that they pull cetus before we can merge bg's and still have ppl inc., after we kill cetus they say we have taken the loot, after they found out we havent gotten loot and they have it, then we cant lotto.

when we continue to ask if its really true that we cant lotto, then KOTL members are being told to leave bg (apparantly dont wanna listen to our whine), and KOTL members then leaves the bg and goes outside Cetus cave to lotto the stuff.

well just my 5 cents (im still dissapointed in some ppl's behavior and some ppl can be dissapointed on me cause of whine on these boards)

but i dont think i have done anything wrong besides being very mad at the time the incident happened.

we were not doing cetus for drops we arranged a ml1 event for a few ppl who did not have it .

reason kotl ppl left bg was because i asked them to before the incident got out of hand with the flaming and abuse flying around in the bg

the raid was stated at the beginning as being a kotl event with kotl members to lotto but any one else was welcome to join for credit .

its a pity you did not take screenies if you did you might have heard one of your members yell pull it b4 they do .

as for the drops i passed an item to bl officer for there members to lotto as they were reasonable enough to listen and give me time to sort the mess out .

only the attitude of a few ppl caused this event to reach these forums and its a shame it could not have been sorted in the bg as i tried to do .

i was not bg leader and was only there to help guildies who had not got ml1 yet .

there was no greed/running off with drops etc from kotl it was an event that messed up by the actions of a few ppl which unfortunatly reached these forums because as usual ppl dont listen to bg orders but yell out things during raid .

Its a shame you got there when another group was there already. But as far as I can tell, the intentions of the first group were not all bad, they would have allowed you to get credit for ML1.10, instead of you having to wait for him to pop again.. (which isn't that long realy..)

They were there, and probably didn't need reinforcements, and when they hear someone shouting "Pull, before the others get him" I think I would react in the same way.

Imo, you should have calmly waited for the 1st group to kill cetus, and then when he repops take him for yourself, including his drops.

Now lets all give each other a nice big hug, and we can all be friends again...

If you start a thread like this, you expect people to judge on what´s being said here from both sides and if you do so, you can´t come up with "you weren´t there, so sftu". If you don´t want people to comment, then this is the wrong place to solve the issue.

well im sure you have your own private ml 1 raid and had sorted rules before hand, Well guess what apparantly Bloodlust and DK had that too, but they could still talk about it and even merge raids. (and yes dk's raid was posted on our internal forum 1 week before, but that doesnt dk's raid anymore special than kotl or bloodlust's raid, we are all in 1 realm and to help out eachother but apparently some ppl dont understand that.)

and yes youre welcome to run a 2'nd run, we have a couple who dont have ml 1.10 credit and even 1 who died on the way to cetus cave and logged afterwards, cause cetus was killed before he could get to cave and get ml 1.10 credit.

and ppl are free to judge who are right or who are wrong, i was mad at the time i made this post and atm im just trying to backup my statements.

i really just wanna post on these forums so stuff like this can be avoided in the future (so KOTL or other guilds can think twice before pulling a stunt like that).

and yes i know some ppl dont care about flaming on these boards, but imo ppl should be nice to eachother and help eachother.


and when doing stuff like yesterday at Cetus cave only got a whole bunch of ppl mad, and i felt posting on this forum was the right thing to do (and i still think i did the right thing, but i should have taken some more screenies)

well im gonna let this rest now, ppl can comment all they want.

i have made the comments i wanted to make atm.

and hopefully shit like this can be avoided in the future.
