Keep Claimng < ????

I have to ask this since it seems to be a subject i am unfamiliar with. Am i right in saying that whoever calls a keep first get to cliam it first as part of these keep claiming ethics?

If that is the case then it is my understanding that AK requested that they could claim Crau yesterday and well lets just say another <cough> "uber" guild claimed it instead.

Probably for the best maby, but i didnt apreciate the /as that they where goin to flame BW if they didnt get to claim, and i am not mentioning names but most peeps will know who i am talking about. Anyway they got the keep so fair play to them and may they hold it long, although since its crau i doubt it...have fun and play safe peeps.

Oh and this isnt a flame more of a quessie with some info poped in...if u want to flame me about it go ahead...

First of all, just because you say "This is not a flame thread", does not mean that it isn't. Calling other guilds "uber" or whatever, and saying that they wouldn't be able to hold crauchon and being sarcastic in that way is flaming.

But i'm so tired of all these kind of posts, just going to explain this for you so you can go on with your life.

This is what happened:

1. Garbannoch (I believe he is in CF), asks on alliance chat if someone wants to help to retake craucho.
2. One of our members replies "yes sure".
3. When we get there there is 2fgs CF people already killing the guards, then i send a private msg to 1 of them asking if it is ok if we claim it, he replies sure, but you might want to ask on the alliance chat first, incase there are no other guilds.
4. I ask on alliance chat if no1 minds that we claim crauchon, i get some sarcastic comments from some people, who obviously were joking.
5. Here is the part i made a mistake and i'm sorry about it, i said we going to make a barrysworld thread if we wouldnt get the claim. Wich of course, was a joke, and most people understood it and we had a laugh about it.

I would be totally fine if someone from CF or whatever guild was there and took the initiative first to claim it, no problem with us at all. But i asked on the AC and 1 of CF leaders told me they totally fine with us claiming it, so there we go.

I hope we can solve this in game next time, try sending 1 of our members and asking if its ok if you claim it instead, ever thought about that? Thanks for the kind comments im sure we are all that you say we are, enjoy the game.

I think Vantros wants to know whether LA or VGN who seem to claim Crauch most often, or possibly all guilds, would respect another guild's request to claim Crauch if it was up for grabs and the request was made known to them in time. I'm not trying to imply that any of these guilds wouldn't do so.

ah this seems to be the norm now between uber guilds

why dont you just all quite your alliances and work within guilds only?

that way you can do what you like and not bother anyone in your alliance coz u aint got one

It's easy enough to claim a keep. Type /realm see what keeps are unclaimed or held by Alb/Mid, get your guild group together, take a couple of rams for good measure, bash the doors down and claim. Then upgrade the doors and defend when the enemy come knockin at the doors.

IMO you dont have to ask on /as if it's ok with everyone if you claim a taken keep, as long as your the people who get off your arses and take the keep (it would be down right rude however to turn up when another guild is bashing the doors and then as soon as the Lord was dead to claim before them). No guild (or alliance) is more entitled to a keep than anyone else. Just my two cents worth.

If you have the numbers and stake your claim first, then I think it's yours, regardless of your guild "status", then upgrade to lvl6 because it helps with our single relic.

Only one last thing...just don't claim Casa del Celtico (Crim) IT'S MINE!

It basicly means you dont belong to them, not that they cannot belong to you, no worry

I think first come, first served tbh. If u get there first and another guild isnt all standing round the keep lord then u claim it. Nevermind if someone else wants to claim on it /as or whatever, if u want it, u r there then u have the right to claim it.

And as someone else said, certain keeps get lost and retaken so often so who cares.

if more then 1 guild is there - /roll 50 .... everyone present rolls after someone says go - who eva gets the highest number wins the claim for the guild! ... probibly get lots of arguements anyway, but maybe u wont - worth a try!
