Keen Hero spec: need opinions

This seems like a very versatile and viable spec to me, but want some second opinions


Shield 42
Pierce or Blunt 34
LW or CS 44
Parry 30


Trade in 15 parry for 28 Pierce. (From normal Hybrid spec 42/6/44/45)
Also what is LW based on? Full STR like CS?

Would go Blunt/CS or Pierce/LW.

if you go LW take it to 50 for annihilation.

i only took blades up high enough for taunt... a taunt is a taunt afterall and i use CS for dmg.

CS 44 and 50 style are a bit dissapointing...so much arsing around to get them off...slam ..switch weaps..move to side... 44 style 50 style..

Only reason im still CS is its what im used too


And slam from shield 42 comes pretty standard with most tanks these days afaik

well i must be crazy then but i really love cs styles

also the 44-50 combo is soo good !

and i think 'the' template is 50 cs 42 shield 39 parry 6 blades

I wouldnt disagree they are good... point im trying to make is LW is a bit better on the ease of use.

that template is same as mine anyway just leaves the choice LW or CS. I'd recommend LW.

44-50 style is good but to get them off need to be side positioned.

Lvl 50 LW style is back based... easy..use when chasing or run past someone coming for you and hit /stick and bam! used that one with hunters boon style and it does work...albs still need to find the stick button me thinks. Only prob is hunters boon doesnt compare to annihilation.

The disadvantage to using CS or LW is the severe lack of STR with a keen. Check people playing keen heroes on US servers, see what they think about pierce ... I know some are going that way because of the high dex.

i may be wrong but isnt the stat increase same across the board?

i.e. whether a celt lurikeen or firb hero.. each lvl 1+ to str, every 2 lvls, +1 con, every 3 lvls, +1 dex or whatever it is...

So by the end of it, ie lvl 50 what you have is a lurikeen with capped str or close enough due to pretty much all hero related item having +str and the primary stat of str being increased each lvl, not dex etc.

my firbs str is capped beyond belief with epic armour....roll on the plats to get what he really needs!

Keen starting STR = 40 .. DEX = 80
Firby starting STR = 90 .. DEX = 40

Is it possible they can both end up at the same STR by lvl 50? How is it on the way up? I still think the lack of STR is a disadvantage.

The point is, even if u make a luri with str based weap... @L50 str will be 85 and dex will be 95 (without point distribution) so not much difference imo... if u compare to firby, ofc they have more str @L50 but for keen, either is good ;-)
