Tottenham will get a good sum for him hopefully then, that means something too, at least to me (if it was my clubcHodAX said:The way football is these days means contracts are worth nowt, he might have signed till 2012 but he won't be there that long mark my words. evzy said:He isnt a bad player tbh, I was joking beforeHe is just annoying at times I find - he can pull off some class stuff but doesnt seem to do it week in week out - when he went from Leeds to Milan (was it Milan btw?) I thought he could make a really good go of it, but didnt and seems to be kinda up and down on form ever since.
They had a good selloutThadius said:Nope
He went from Wolves to Coventy.
Then Coventy to Inter Milan for 15 million(i think)
Was shit there, moved to Leeds and had a cracking few seasons
Leeds went bankcrupt, they flogged him to Spurs on the cheap
evzy said:I wouldnt say he was awesome for Leeds - he was good but not cracking - he has never scored more than 14 goals in a season and Milan paid 12mil for him..
Like I said I think he has some great tricks and potential but either hasn't had a decent run of games at times to show it, or simply can't keep a high level of play up over the course of a whole season.. Think if he keeps at it at spurs he has a decent chance to fulfil his potential - more so than if he had gone to Everton (no offence Everton fans)
