Is it a free version with no pop-ups or do you have to pay to use it?. If it's a free download, could someone point me in the direction of a URL as to where, please.

Thanks

dont use kazaa lol, they've started prosecuting peeps on there, proper hard style aswell. like 5 grand fines being thrown at you from no where cos you downloaded a song, theres a big ol' article about it somewhere, cant be arsed to find it, but its basically going on about a new law thats been introduced that means record labels are now legally allowed to ask ISPs for private customer information, and then go on to prosecute ya. dunno how real/big the threat is, but i aint risking it.

DPA - Data Protection Act.

The threat is much more prevelant in the States than the UK afaik. Also, if you set it so you're not sharing your files, though against what kazaa would like you to do, i believe the threat is less likely, as they tend to target places that are being from downloaded from.

Download KaZzA now and with every download you get a virus! its FREE of charge ! www.kazza.com
use DC++ or a FTP, ftp's are much better. But you can't beat Kazaa for porno

when under suspicion of theft the DPA doesnt apply to you, aslong as the information they require is in-line with any forthcoming prosecution and/or court proceedings..

so you steal song 1
record company write to your isp and say we want his address so we can sue
isp says sure, to avoid being sued themselves

The Data Protection Act will not save you here im afraid, if you infringe any-ones copy rights you lose all entitlements to have your information kept secret.

not true, record companies now setup their own Kazaa sharing pcs to catch you and even tho you may claim its entrapment, it has led to several high profile law suits which they have won... nothing is safe, and so it should be, i dont take illegal music from artists and id hate to have all my profits stolen by some pirate who feels the need to "share" my music, and this bullshit about people trying before they buy is pure crap...99.9% of those who download from things like Kazaa have no intention whatsoever of EVER buying the album.

make it 90% and I believe you, as the music isnt at the same volume level, which makes it abit irritating to listen to. Also some people do want to support that artist. However i think 75% of the people who download it wouldnt have bought the music anyway.
But there are now legal ways in the USA to buy music online and this will happen in europe aswell. Also this is cheaper than buying from the store and easier, so along with strong law enforcement it helps fight the piracy.
