my 2 fav RTS games are/were C&C and Total Annihilation.

Now that C&C3 is out, and Supreme Commander as well, the reviews etc are tipped in the favour of SC over C&C...

but got them both on order so i'll wait n see

I'm a big fan of C&C series, really big fan. Played them a lot on LANs and stuff. I've only played the demo of C&C3 so far, but to me, SC appears to be a superior game. Its got some really nice features, like the scroll wheel map zoom. Although on the Demo of C&C... Mammoth Tank > All

SC is a better game, some quality units to toy with like the great big wopping spider thing, walks under the sea which is so cool.

That should run it fine, its just that I would not suggest running 4 teams with a max of 1000 units on each.... the AI is very quick to build thousands of little robots!

That should be ok. I have a 256mb card with some Sempron 2800 processor and I have no trouble, till the Aeon hippies send 100000 Engineers all over the place. So you should be fine when the AI starts its attack.
