Interesting page to predict the results of an asteroid impact

It doesn't show you a cool animation of an asteroid wiping out your town, but some of the numbers are a bit scary.

I thought I'd try some realistic ones, like a 5 mile wide asteroid landing within
50 miles of my position at 17 KM/s and it told me "Your position is in the region which collapses into the final crater"
Although I don't think I'd worry to much as "Much of the body suffers third degree burns" Ouch

Freaky!! Just worked out what would happen with the same asteroid hitting New York and me being in London. Even then we get :-

Richter Scale Magnitude: 9.9
The ejecta will arrive approximately 1754.4 seconds after the impact.
At your position the ejecta arrives in scattered fragments
The air blast will arrive at approximately 18622.3 seconds.
Sound Intensity: 80 dB (Loud as heavy traffic)

Is this in any way related to the film Whoop's Apocalypse? I saw that when I was 13, and thought it was one of the funniest things ever.
