Cheating spags! First drugs, now match fixing, the club themselves are worried about being relegated, if I was playing for a lower league club I'd fucking love it if they did go down :)

They were cleared of the doping scandal, and I suspect they'll get cleared of this one too. I've noticed a couple of interesting things in this debacle tho,

1) Juventus actually lost a large propertion of the games Moggi "fixed". In the first game mentioned, a 2-1 defeat to Reggina, Juve had two clear penalty appeals turned down and a perfectly good goal disallowed. This must be some new approach to match fixing I hadn't heard of previously.....I always thought you were supposed to fix them so you win......

2) Did no-one else find the timing of this coming out a bit suspicious? Not long after they'd been cleared of the doping allegations, were in the middle of a press silence and were preparing to win another Scudetto (that's 29 folks, 1 more and we have another star!).

Oh and I just read Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi wants the last two Serie A titles given to his team. I'm assuming he's ignoring the fact Milan are being investigated as well. I'm also sure that if they really wanted, they could find enough dirt on Berlusconi to make Moggi and Giraudo look like saints......

You don't withdraw your top referee from a major international tournament for nothing though. As for the drugs, Agricola was found guilty - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4045525.stm however he appears to be the scapegoat for the club.

You do really, especially if he's being investigated on match-fixing allegations. It's called prudence.......

And yes you're right Agricola was charged. Juve were let off tho, and allowed to keep the Serie A's and CL they won during the period in question. I can see a similar thing happening here.
