engaged in an engineering feat to transport some squid over 100 blocks away in an uphill underground river, to a big aquarium i'd built at Pieopah's house, for said squid.

made a little grotto with a chest inside, kelp with coloured wool etc...looks groovy !

Amongst the various scenic blocks i had placed, some were gold. they have been taken, and all the squid killed(4 of em).

Everyone on the server is a friend of somebody who is on FH. One of your friends is fucking cnut, and one FH member is obviously not a very good judge of character, to have friends who are that fucking RETARDED.

About the squids, they will disappear when you are out of the area/logged off. Because of how the mobspawner thing in Minecraft works, so nothing to do with it

As for the guy stealing a goldblock from you, I will check up myself.

Behavior

When moving about, the squid's tentacles open and close, giving them an appearance of pushing themselves forward. Squid swim around aimlessly, and do not deliberately interact with the player.

When forced onto land, squid become immobile. They take fall damage and burn like any land mob. However, they cannot drown.

Unlike any other mobs, squid are capable of freely swimming up a waterfall.

Squid don't disappear when you go far from it, log out, or restart the server. This makes a squid a good pet which you can keep in your aquarium.

And i can confirm this, for 2 weeks the 4 squid lived happily in the aquarium.

After the update, there might have been a certain rollback. Which can be the cause of this! So before jumping to a conclusion take this into mind.

about 30 mins worth of rollback, the block had been there weeks.

Yes it is extreme, but it's better to make an example right away then waiting for it to get worse and have to be even more extreme later...

far far more ppl play (since ive been playing) who are not long time FH members.

cant say ive seen any suspicious activity and ive been to pies location a few times cos weve become quite pally in minecraft, hes helped me loads with materials on my new project, so bit pissed off someone has stolen from such a decent lad.

There is a plugin like that called bigbrother, and I have tried it out once aswell. But I will have to read up more on it, because I wasnt 100% sure on how it worked

You may as well start your own single player game and gift yourself whatever you want if that's the level of social interaction you want.

I will just add that I have had certain blocks go missing from my house and I'm pretty sure it's nothing that someone would want to steal.... the posts holding up my wooden decking. So I can only assume it's a glitch that makes them vanish from time to time.

Perhaps it's this in the case of solid blocks out in the open?

As for items going missing from crates....well it's awfully cynical but that's what the locked crates are for.

Can't trust anyone these days....mumble, grumble......bloody kids.....I remember in my day....etc etc

I have installed Bigbrother to the server. This means I can see who, when and where someone change a block and how many times it is changed. So if anyone ever steals again, just tell me. And show me the area, and I will find out!
