Just started a druid on Excalibur

Started a druid here on Excalibur, and from the looks of it this might be one of the longer hib vacations i'm on.

Wondering what is the druid specc i should be aiming at:
currently considering:
35Nurture 41Regrowth

or

38Nurture 35Regrowth

Opinions please :)

31reg 45nur is allso an option where you get uber buffs.

buffs are good, but i like the idea of haveing 2nd spread heal and best ress to make huge amounts of rps in CS keeps :D

31regorwoth 45 nurture sounds good too, but i figuered i wanted to make a really good healer this time.

But i want to have a spec that gets me into RvR groups, so i'd like to hear what spec is most common in RvR, or is most speccs viable so i won't get alieneted fer haveing semi-decent buffs and good heals o_O

After much fiddling on a char builder and swearing about needing more points i decided to go for the 41 reg 35 nurt spec on my druid. :)

Was thinking about a higher nurt spec to get the last heat and cold resist buffs but decided it was too much of a sacrifice to my healin. And i love the 100% rez. ;)

Sounds like a viable spec....only thing is...aoe root will fuck up some very nice mezzes :)
Seen it, and its frustrating when people do not know how to use it :)

isn't it that the spell lvl is taken to clac the resist chance - so it would be a waste of spec points - imho

I agree, i thought about it but i thought low level ae root would get resisted a lot. Far better to spec for the better single target heal and use single target root to get tanks off casters/bard :)

You forgot.....

50 nurture and get a ns on another account ^_^

Cept that, the 41 reg one is great, 100% resses4tehwin! =)
But, your fully able to keep your group alive and get the best resist buffs as well, its a matter of priority anyways.

I kinda like Ola's spec. 40 nurt, 35 reg, 9 NA. Good buffs, nice heals and acces to ae root that sometimes can stop the lose tanks attacking the bard.

and also, why the 40 rezz? if someone dies you have failed your job allready. ;)

the last thing was said by Ola, only smart thing he ever said imo ;)

Well, then i have to disagree with Ola :D (whats new hehe)
Imo the last rezz is very powerfull and as we all know, elfs and luri's can die REAL fast.
This is where the rezz comes in handy. I can assure u it saved the group on a few occasions ;)

But its indeed a mather of priotities :)

just dont care about the area root at lower levels, nature is not worth the crap unless you spec it a lot, but if you DO spec it a lot, you can be a part of the REALLY few hib groups with all three CC's ^_^

If you spec some nature, it will only be resisted im afriad :/

Imo single target root > ae root for rooting nasteh tanks.

The low level ae root just gets resisted too much :(

im 35/40/9 and i love it.. when he bard fail to get all mezzed ir they purge.. its nice to be able to save the bard from being hacked to hell. with a nice AE root... gives him time to get away.. ofc you have to use the right times :D but i havnt failed that many times :D
