first a couple of things.
1.) Ok im new to these forums so dont flame me to bad.
2.) I've only been playing the game since about november
3.) Most of my experience in playing has been watching my friend (who will go unnamed)
Might I just say that all this talk about who took what keeps at what time is full of crap. I mean, maybe it takes a total noob to see this, but isnt that the whole point of the game (relics included).
Now if Mid desides to get 200 and some odd people to take a relic at 5 AM, who cares? I mean it really sucks to lose a relic and all, but it happens. Let's just get on with it and continue our game.
Now, I've also noticed in the posts that people keep blaming albs and hibs for kinda teaming up against mids? Now I have not been playing long at all, but I still remember when I could solo in Odins and run around for an hour without seeing but one or two mids. Why is that? Because you were all in Emain on keep raids/relic raids or just RPing. Now, when that happened, I never heard a Hib in the game (I'm Hib after all) complin about it. Not a single one of them, that I heard accused Albs and Mids of "teaming up"
Now, over the past few months I HAVE noticed one thing. The number of his RvRing is down. I can actually remember when there was a Relic Raid taking place and there were lvl 50 hibs crafting, or XPing alts that dint go on the raid because they just didnt feel like it. Why? Because they knew that no matter how many Hibs we mustered up, there would be at least 2FG more of Alb or Mids (which ever applys).
Constantly I'll be watching my friend and see his group get butchered by a zerg thats running around not even aking a keep or so. I bet if every relm did a /who odins or /who emain (etc) they would find that mids and alb all have about 1.5 times the number of hibs.
Now I've been with Hibs ever since and I love it. The people are seond to none other. I remember beeing a lvl 4 and having people over me Power Levels and druids buffing me and people giving me a gold or two incase I needed it. So whenever i'm wandering through one of the lowbe xp areas, if I have extra conc I dont need, I'll buff them, I'll buff them (if im on chanter) or I'll even sometimes give a gold or two to those that ask. I do it because i know a lot of hibs would do the same for me, even though most of you probably have never heard of my characters.
ok back on track, I also remember at a relic raid that Hibs mustered up 150 or so and my friend was feeling pretty good about it. about 30 of them were ll 30-45 just trying to help out. We were feeling good and then 250 or so Mids show up and sent us all the Dun Legen quite quickly... not complaining, I mean thats part of the game. But it does show you why some of the Hibs have gotten sick of RvRing.
So when some Hibs stroll into mid to take a keep, and then get yelled at because Albs happened to be attack (or defending) a keep against mid at the same time, then it just adds to the dislike for RvRing.
I must admit, I enjoy just chatting with mates, XPing, or even powerleveling people rather than RvR (thats also cause I have no lvl 50). My mate let me use his lvl 50 for a short while get a taste for RvR and while its fun at times, I really couldnt be bothered)
So the poin of this whole post is that the complaining and whining is really quite pointless. I mean everythings just a part of the game and that includes 5AM raids, zergs, and the occational double attack. THe point being just learn to live with it because it probably doesnt happen that often.
I know I'm gonna get flamed for this... but really I dont care. I know I'm a noob and if you bothered to read this then I'm fine with whatever flame you might have.
