Im currently with an isp called Freedom2surf.
when i 1st joined them i was amazed at the pings i was getting
durning the moring the ping would even hover around the 20's
evening that would go into the 30's.
but its now suffering from its own success pings are now in
the 200' to 400's all the time.the good thing this is a wiresonly
service the main reason im posting this today 2 things
does anyone know a good adsl isp for gamers and avoid F2s
at the moment i hear they have started taking MORE people
on even though the promised 1 gig pipe upgrade hasnt happened
as promised!

Im on BT ADSL

BT as in Bloody Trash BUT my ping is rarely higher than 40 and usually hovers around 20-30

Ive had a bit of downtime with BT but alls been fine for the last few months.

At its current price of about £25 a month its also not too bad a deal

A nice little tip for you is this...LIE when u sign up (if u do ) tell them that you have no credit card and that youll need to make direct debit payments.
This puts you onto the Business packet.

the differences :

.btclick.com mail addy instead of btinternet.com wow !!!! i can live with that

£1 a month admin charge i can live with that

50:1 ratio on my line instead of home package that is now 200:1 thats why i have a good ping,only a max of 50 ppl at any one time using my line

im on BT ADSL too, never had one prob (ice hahaha) and its always given me between 8-30ish ping on BW, no joke, i was on instagib the other day and i was getting 8-10 pings !!!!!!

proud of that

i pay £30 a month and alway have, yes i know some big screw up there cos it only went down this month to £30 heaheaheh

ahhhhhh wonderful cable, the only prob i am having with low pings is with ping jumps of 20 it seems worse then when you have a 50 ping

omg the very name BT send shivers through me.
they were 1st isp i had adsl with in my old house
lets just say things didnt go well! with BT
but thank you for that tip about the credit card! i never knew that!
i dont know what the hell my isp is playing at the moment.
pity barryswolrd didnt do ADSL accounts
90% of my online time is gaming!

i went online and my ping was much better.
the f2s forum everyone thought the upgrade had taken place.
turns out the isp has stopped things like
kazaa and other such programmes for the time being!
hehehe there are a LOT of unhappy people
