Just got this game

Yes yes, about a year late
To be honest I was christmas shopping and saw it on special offer so grabbed it.
It looks amazing.
Anyway, what I wanted to know was, are there any guides like the upset chaps one for Q3 ?
At the moment Im running it at 1280 -1024 with everything on maximum, and it does look superb as I say, but am I missing out but not having an "optimum" fps, like 125 in Q3 ?
And how do I see the fps anyway ? statsfps someone said, but it didnt seem to work ?
Anything else I need to know ? Any imformation I'd be glad to hear

Well the one time I got to check the fps on UT2K3 it was going from 70-90, which seems reasonable , though my question really is is there an advantage to 125, or 12.4, or whatever it is
After all, theres always 1024-768 resolution to fall back on !

I don't know cos I never played UT2K3 at a high enough level to care but it didn't seem to effect the physics in UT when you had high fps like it did in Q3 so I would guess it's just whatever feels best for you.

Thats what I hoped to hear I must admit
The guns all seem rather unbalanced somehow, but the game itself is really pretty I thought.
I dont understand how people keep dissapearing into walls, and I dont understand what the adrenaline does either, as my cheapo copy didnt have a manual
O well, at least this forum had a couple of posts Wij ay ?

Adrenaline Moves

Speed: forward, forward, forward, forward
Regen: back, back, back, back
Invisibility: straferight, straferight, strafeleft, strafeleft
Berserk: forward, forward, back, back
PintSize: left, left, left, left
Camouflage: right, right, right, right

Of course to perform these moves you need to collect adrenalin. This is collected by picking up pills, (found throughout the map) or killing people. Once you have reached 100 the pill icon will flash and the announcer will say "Adrenaline" then you can invoke the special moves.
