Are there any issues with the Desert Combat mod ? has any one here got it ?
I ask after installing the UT2k3 demo on top on Beta Detonator drivers, and ending up with a complete reformat :/
Suffice to say, I dont use beta drivers any more, but Id be happy to known there were no problems awaiting me ...

I just installed last night and other than some cranky sound issues (stutters ets ) it works fine.

Works fine. Doesn't break anything on the normal game (dunno about RtR as I don't have it). The sound "stutters" that someone referred to are (I think) when you have an Apache helo hovering just above you. They're not that annoying anyway. Excellent mod - it really is. Fucks up your aim with tanks in the normal game though cos in the mod the tanks fire high-velocity rounds which go more or less in a straight line
