Not flaming, but I was wondering how many peeps here have died against albs recently and been /slap, /laugh etc when dead? Wouldn't ask but it's been 13 times in a row (unlucky number!) at different places and on different days. Am I being paranoid or is anyone else experiencing this?

its called emoting

you can use / commands to send an emote to another player. These Emotes can be used against your enemies to convey emotions such as respect, hated, fear etc...

It is a common practise in daoc to send an emote to a player once you have killed him.

Sometimes your opponent gets so overwhelmed with emotions that they can literally press there emote button multiple times in seconds. Which widely gets misinterpretted as a form of insult.

Erm, yes I know what emoting is - thanks for trying to be helpful. I was asking whether it was a new trend - been rvr'ing as a 50 for 5 months now and merely wondered if NF has instigated it, just seems that alb players are more aggressive atm.

Imagine the joy of finaly owning a solo lvl50 with only the help of 13 or so guildmates. Surely we can allow them a little /victory /cheer /rude /rude /rude and some corpse dancing to celebrate their 17rps?

it allways makes me laugh at them albs when i get moved down by 2-5 of em 2-3 times my rr and they do /flex /laugh /rude /cry what ever

it can actuly make my day when i take nice screenies of em doing it on my poor corpse

yeah they even been doing it in thid seen mincer and another thought i'd try with my lvl 23 gimped shade backstabed mincer and hit again he ran mezzed then infil came and finished me of. fair enough ;I tried and failed then infil started to /rude me. had to laugh but thats albs(14 year old spotty kids )

IMO tie the account to the name of the Credit Card holder. That alone will save most of DAoC's problems!

Sure i get /rude /laugh /slap -ed on when i died to an alb .. but if you cant stand that you should see WoW .. /spit on you when you died will piss you off even more.

if i unstealth in df and a group of grey con hibbies or middies start attacking me totally unprovoked i usually /slap them all when they are dead :kissit:

other than that i do /bow or /clap if i had a good fight

i run up to some hibs solo, (i needed to suicide) i wave, dance and hug, all i get back is /rude

i dont even kill..!! ima cleric xD
