Little Suggestiong for the users of MGC /as chat...

AS /as chat is used reguarly now due to the constant invasions of our lands people seem to be getting less lax on it...

First thing i found is that people are not completing thier msgs.. we will get things like "/as 1fg albs spotted" current position? headding? in odins? etc etc pls try to be more precise.

The other thing... as soon as we see enemies in our frontier it is good to notify the realm, but it is effectivly Emain Chat (Odins being Mid emain ) when peopel start to chat genrally about whats happening, e.g. asking for rezzes etc on /as and asking if there is a space in groups for you...

Does anybody else share my view on this? or is it just me, im not saying do this do that as it isnt my alliance so i have no right, and im not perfect im sure i have said things on /as that could be considered spam at one point or another....

Just womthing that caught my attention today thts all

Anyway im gonna goto bed...

Hehe, i'm not in any alliance atm, so I know nothing about the situation. Tho, I only know that in thidranki CG's there is a lot "I need rezz" "alb spotted" messages, without location and direction, it would all be very helpfull if you spent 10 more secs to write those important extra words

Hmmm, feels like the same discussion as it was about AU alliance chat and therefor alot of the big guilds aint in it anymore.......

Lots of ppl with 1 shared chanel = lots of gossip

IMO the /as chat should be ONLY be used for relevant information. That being to coordinate attacks and report enemy position ONLY in our realm.

Nothing else should ever need to go on there. the only exception to that is when there is large scale MGC movements in Albion. I wouldn't class Emain as worthy of a mention in /as unless it were for relic raid coordination. There's always an emain CG running so join that instead.

Any other crap that seems to make its way into /as should have the offenders rights to /as chat taken away. There's nothing worse than having /as "rez plz at c-roads" or various malm/ legion/ emain rubbish flashing up in that chat channel. It should be clear and precise.

We know that But way too many people with access have a total disregard for the rules set out or are just too darned lazy to find out. these are the people who I believe should have /as rights removed. It's not a chat channel, it's a tool to protect our frontiers. CG's and sends are for chat.

I think Emain and Hadrian zergs should not be mentioned on /as unless theres a greater threat, ie: keep taking for the alliance under threat or RR parties on the move reporting in - however most of this can be reported by /send or in a CG.

Also we have ppl who think /as is for advertising keep raids outside of our realm, again I find this annoying when the same person asked 4 times during the defence of one of our keeps, and many a request for backup, needless to say he didnt want to help and went back to malm instead.

I would however agree that some ppl are still missing out vital info when sending enemy activity to /as, locs, dirs, numbers etc.
