Jumping the bandwagon - Farewell for now

Yesterday I terminated my account. To put it bluntly, the game has not been very fun lately. The reasons for this are many, with the main one being that level 50 just isn't all it's cracked up to be

So, I'll be taking a break. How long I don't know, but at least untill Shroudes Isles is out in Europe. I still have a week or two left on my account and will pop in to say goodbye, but I won't be around much.

To all the people I met and had fun with I'd just like to say a big thank you. Most of the time with this game has been most pleasurable, and you - the people - are to thank for that.

So it finally happened - tonight was the last night of DAoC I will play till Shrouded Isles come out. Unfortunently I wasn't able to talk to all the people I would have wished to, so I'd like to use this forum to thank some special people:

Rhonvan for always being able to make me laugh, and for having the biggest circle of male.. eh... "friends" in the realm

Aurian/Silk for some nice talks. I never got to group with you as much as I would have liked to

Roalith for putting up with my silly crating questions and constant teasing about slow crafting points

Graham/Carrain/Myste and the rest of what was Claidhmnean agus Draoidh (I will never spell that right!) for times that once was

Aurelius for the times we were trying to figure out what the hell the things going on in the events meant - altough I fear I did more to confuse than to help

Jupitus, Lunar and the rest of Phoenix Legion for giving me a home for the last few weeks - I'm sorry I wasn't very much fun though, being bored with the game and all

The people of Utopia - I have said it before and will say it again: You were the greatest bunch of people that one could ever be in the same guild as If there is one thing I will remeber fondly about my time playing DAoC, it will be my days in the best guild in the world

And finally all the people I've ever grouped with - It's thanks to the really nice people I've met out there (I haven't forgotten any of you) that I kept playing this game for almost a year. Thank you!

I guess that's it for me then. See you around people, and watch out for a little leatherclad reaver with whip once Shrouded Isles is out
