Hello/Salute to all hard fighting fearless warriors of BG1 from all Realms.
Not having played in BG before (believe it or not) i found the experience exhilarating to say the least. Now that i am capped and approaching level 26 i have questioned whether i want to continue to level 50. Reasons? Sheer drudgery involved, new skills that over complicate and also seem to be too in favour of an inf - dodge/dragonfang etc. At level 24 an inf is in most cases way underpowered and only by outwitting can an inf have any hope of bringing down such classes as a Mid warrior. Infact this is also the case when an Albion inf meets a SB face to face. This make it exciting to me and draws me back - the challange. Also with the next patch, as i understand it, you will be able to remain in BG and not be kicked out when you reach your cap level. This makes it even more attractive as i am sure a lot of people would like a chance to get revenge on someone that killed them. Someone that had since then become capped and moved on. There is also the new PVP server coming into being soon and I will be looking closely into that as well. Maybe the way to go if the environment isn't too harsh.
I pay my respects to all who take part in BG because not all do. It can be a frightening and quite traumatic experience to say the least and requires considerable guts to take part in.
Look out for a new alt from me in the near future. Though Jones might well be reborn as well to return to the land where many good friends and acquaintances died on the field of battle. Is it any wonder Jones wants to return to seek vengeance for the wrongs his people received from the likes of montrous Trolls and death dealing Shadowblades? - not to mention archers/mages/skalds/warriors - all of whom were guilty of persecution. All had Albion blood on their hands so all are guilty in Jones's eyes.
Bye for now and sharpen your weaps because Albion infs are in training!!!
