Gutted, his films were the ones that i grew up with, Ferris is still one of my fav's, and Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Uncle Buck were great

His films always had a message in them too, such a shame :(

Bueller and Weird science were what I spent my childhood watching. Still watch Bueller on a monthly basis tbh, it just never gets old!! Got my daughter dancing when he's singing on the milk float just as an excuse to watch it!!!!

Lets hope no one ever tries to remake these classics. I'd rather they rereleased the originals!

Planes Trains and Automobiles is one of my favourite comedies. I laugh just thinking about it.

What a shame, such an early age :(

Planes Trains and Automobiles is one of my favourite comedies.

It really is an absolute classic, when I first watched it I couldn't breathe for laughing so much.

One of the best scenes ever is when he rants at the car rental lady, pure genius.

Also of course Weird Science is also awesome, the bit where she tells the lads parents he isn't really washing his hair in the bathroom :D

sad loss :(

Grew up with those films, all good, and as has already been said Planes, Trains is a comedy great. One of my top 5 comedies and a bit of a message to it as well

RIP John Hughes
