Well, I'd say Halo is like Battlefield 1942. A massive online teamplayer game, but only in the future.
There are some nice weapons (Well, on the Xbox I played it in a store).
As for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy:
it really looks nice, you can choose your own clothes and your own specie.
Lucasarts and Raven wants to creat a new type of sabre fights, by adding some new features init as Dual Sabre and Staff sabre (Darth Maul's sabre). There also different kind of Hilts you can choose (so it seems on www.lucasarts.com).
By the look of it, it seems JK:JA would be JK2 + omnimod. But I think they want to make the game not only for the Star Wars geeks. Like JK2 it slowly died, it isnt as populair as Q3A. Raven and Lucasarts will do their best to make it a splashing Multi player game.
Well, atleast I'll get myself a copy of JK JA when it comes out. 8)
