Just bought his "latest album", and what do i think? Goddamn, this man's genius exceeds that of Bill Gates fortune (relatively speaking)

Can't even say which song is the best because each and every one is a work of art in its own right. Anyone else a fan of his music?

I get the feeling this doesn't apply to me. As I'm quite undoubtedly younger than you. FYI I was brought up on Hendrix / Zeppeling / Doors, because my dad was always playing them

I like to listen to a bit of Gong and Doobie Brothers when I'm chilling out at home, as well as a large selection of tunes to varied to list. What's your favourite old classics to listen to?

when i used to get stoned (a lot) in the eighties i used to listen to gong very strange hippy ppl.
my all time favourites have to be led zep 3 and physical graffiti for the "musical" side ,and all pistols /damned stuff for the punk side.
in the eighties i was also a very big fan of...hawkwind.i know.im sorry

Gong are very strange, nice bunch of folk though, very friendly gigs. And I like all that punk stuff too, though it really fits a different mood. I still dig up a lot of ska and reggae when I've had a smoke or five too (try every night )

ew rainbow never like them.even when i was 15,and i liked bloody iron maiden then omg.i generally dont say that,generally say motorhead as they seem to have kept some form of cred somehow.(i know how,they were good!).

I was into Rush, Rainbow (not the crappy Graham Bonnet unit - Dio was the man), Whitesnake and Judas Priest - bit of Krokus, Wishbone Ash too.

Now old Floyd, Hendrix, Tangerine Dream sorts it

Early-mid Rush stuff is cool. Still listen to it sometimes now I dig a 7-8 time signature

Actually I wasn't much of a Rainbow fan generally. Dio is a freaky goblin. Joe-Lynn Turner had Xena's haircut and seemed a bit too in touch with his feminine side :/

In fact I don't like most 70s rock/metal except in a kind of Smashie n Nicey way. Cheesey but fun
