So, what do you reckon? Have I been taken in by an early April Fool?

Well, this one came out of the blue. It seems that German magazine, GameStar, has an exclusive on the announcement that Jedi Knight III is in production. JediKnightII.net have posted up some details on what to expect, as well as bunch of screenshots. However, with it being April Fools day tomorrow, if this turns out to be a wind up I'll be sure to let you know.

The screenshots look like they could be redendered by the JK2 engine quite easily, so I assume it's a fake.

I thought the whole point of April Fool's Jokes was they're meant to suck people in. To do so, they have to be about things people might give a shit about. Does anyone actually care if/when JKIII is coming out?

This was mentioned a while ago when Activision did a conference call and mentioned that the sequal to JK2 was coming out in time for Christmas as part of their "future revenue" plans or some such rubbish. As such I don't think it is an April Fool.
