In the absence of dedicated Software Dev forums you people are the next best thing 
Next year at Uni we're doing Java as our main programming language. I'd quite like a nice IDE to worth with and I'm stuck at where to look really.
I tried to install JBuilder 6 Personal but the installer crashed, so no luck there.
Does anyone program in Java and if so, recommendations welcome. Something with a cut down sub-£100 version would be nice Suggestions for Linux are also welcome
I currently use Delphi, so a similar GUI would be welcome.
