January XBox 360 Offers

Right, I didn't get an XBox 360 for Christmas, but I still want one. Not sure if I can afford it but I want to try. Seems it be about £280 across the board for a proper one, but I'll be wanting a game or two, XBox Live, a second controller… so really, I'll need some sort of bundle.

So, is anyone offering any sort of super-amazing January sale offers?

virgin are doing 0% interest for 12 months. could apply for one of them, lower the limit down to 350 (so you can buy it and some bits) and bobs your uncle.

Hmm, the idea of repairing one is perhaps going too far! I'll continue to ponder the credit option. I get paid on the 11th, so having calmed myself down about it all, won't do anything until then.

In the meantime, Play have a Gears of War, PGR3, extra controller bundle for £300, which looks to be a remarkably good deal. It also lists XBox Live Arcade — is that the free thing or the annual sub thing?

im sure thats just hexic HD which everyone gets. nothing worth mentioning thats for sure.

I bought that bundle 2 days ago (although in sweden, but for the same price more or less etc). Very pleased so far Only complaint so far is that the 360 is a little bit noisy when running game discs but then again once you are stuck in playing you dont really think about it. The Xbox Live Arcade disc is 6 or 7 games you can normaly buy and download from the Live Marketplace, plus an extra month of XboxLive Gold membership (so you have 2 months total from the package).

Gears of War rocks And looks very nice even on my old 28" 4:3 tv.
