Imagine if u loved a rock band as great as Janes Addiction when u were little struggling thru secondary school and loved them more than life itself and the reason u went out with a girl just because she bore a slightly similar resemblance to the lead singer perry farrell.

Imagine ur feelings when they split up at the height of their success and ur left with nirvana and co, not bad bands but not a patch on JA. You cry, u get upset

Imagine then when u see them whoring mtv promising a new album, alongside the likes of Britney Spears and Eminem, you do nothing but worry. And then the album takes 2-3 more years to make and you start to forget and think to urself when this album gets released its going to be shit and u cry some more.

Made even worse by utter shite like linkin park covering Jane Says and butchering it beyond reason, Mr navarro goes to the hugely overated RHCP and u get even more upset.

Then when release date nears closer u cant help but think they have gone nu-metal to fit in...

But then after 10-11 years u finally hear their new album.

ANd people it fucking rocks, get urself an education and hear one of rocks greatest artists, ever.

Mr Perry Farrell and co, i am sorry i ever doubted you, can u forgive me?

The chili peppers are awesome shut up... Navarro just wasn't compatible with the chili peppers sound... he and the chili peppers realised this... while I personally think One Hot Minute was an ok album, Frusciante is just a hard wired part of the chili peppers sound and they don't seem to work musically without him, yes I'm not that fussed on the albums made with Hallel on the guitar either...

woah sorry yeah this is about JA... I like the older stuff but I honestly didn't think they should make a comeback, they'd been out of the loop too long... I haven't heard the new material but I'll deffinately take a gander

I dont dislike the rhcp i just find them extremely bland and yes you are right about fruiscante (spl)

I didnt want JA to regroup tbh fearing the worst

But im very pleasantly surprised
