Anyone here read a few of his books, if so i have a question for you. What sort of society does he reflect in his books, and give an example.

My all time favourite is Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. The book is about Stephan Dedalus growing up in Ireland as he journeys through Catholicism, education, politics, and ultimately art. The book is a rites of passage from bed-wetting boy to head-in-the-clouds artist. Amazing book.
