HOw can you jail people for saying that the tremors that have been felt might not mean an bigger quake is coming ...

How can you hold anyone responsible for a geographic 'god' event that no one is able to predict.

Prosecutors said the defendants gave a falsely reassuring statement before the quake, while the defence maintained there was no way to predict major quakes.

i prefer the no way to predict and most if not all would have died whatever was said before unless they moved the entire population for an indefinite period until the quake hit.

Make a nervous population easier with its environment or say shit the quakes coming but we dont know when.
