Get together with some guildies and hit Winterspring/Western Plaguelands, I normally travel with a group of 3-4 people regularly to do quests. We get some nice HK's on the way too :)

I was just pondering making a post about this same issue, but from a warrior's perspective. I've been going round the bend trying to solo xp since the honour system came in, but as a 58 warrior I am prime gank-fodder.

In PvP, warrior's are very very reliant on taking the initiative, using charge to get close and get some rage to stand a chance in most fights. In a PvP enabled quest area this means you would need to take an offensive approach on every encounter. If you do this, though, you can be sure whoever you attack will soon be back with his buddies. If you don't, then it's only a matter of a short time before you get attacked mid pull because you're a juicy fat chunk of CPs.

Move somewhere else for your quests? Eastern/Western plaguelands are just as bad as Winterspring or anywhere else I've tried. Life's shit.

As a warrior I grinded on humanoids in Blasted Lands, yeh they are a bit lower but there is no downtime. And chances area anyone else hunting them is below your level so you should be able to take them without having full hp etc.

I'm a 58 Warrior too Jup, you simply cannot solo in the 50-60 zones, with a small group however you can pretty much run around with total impunity. I made Master Sergeant, without ever really going out of my way to PvP, just by killing whatever we come across on our way round doing quests.

We have had some great fights, always fun when you turn up to a quest area and find some Horde doing the same quest, then spend the next 20 mins fighting for control of the area. ;)

The other option of course is to do instances, BRD is perfect for level 58 and every group will always want a Warrior along..

Agreed, problem has been that the group I typically quested with have all hit 60 and aren't interested in my remaining quests. I have done alot of the BRD pre-reqs and having waited for a 2nd guild run for 4 weeks I've given up, quit the guild, and will try to find a decent random group to do it with over the long weekend.
There's always East Wing in Dire Maul as well.

I found fellwood to be a good grinding place as horde, just stay away from the road and hit the deadwood furblogs and Trees

Maybe Silithus - everyone hates insect mobs so you should be pretty much alone there :) I know i never go there looking for pvp anyway. Other options are, as people have stated, to use instances heavily or to grind/quest in groups of 3+

Most people don't go to silithus looking for anything if they can avoid it. It's miles away from anything, with annoying mobs and few quests. Good place if you want a quiet evening. ;)
