Issue with games in general

I know this is not only a Dark Age of Camelot related question, but as there's many DAoC players that has tried Guild Wars and other sorts of games, I'll give it a shot here.

Has tried to play different kinds of game, here including Guild Wars and Battlefield, where I get this flickering when I get into the game. I can see everything, there's just this flickering all around the screen. The flickering is like when you watch Television and the TV aerial doesn't recieve the signal 100%.

I didn't have got this problem earlier, but from when I reinstalled Windows XP Pro, it has begun in many games.

My computer:
Intel Pentium IIII 3 Ghz
1024 mb RAM
GeForce FX5600
Windows XP Pro, SP2
Desktop resolution 1024x768
Colour quality 32 bit
Nvidia Performance and Quality settings for Image is High Quality Performance
Refresh rate 60 hertz

got a power source / magnetic source close to your monitor or monitor cable?
have you tinkered around with clock speed ? or installed a new mobo / fan?
try setting your display properties to their default settings
have you tried it in safe mode ?
have you run a hardware diagnostics test on your components ?
