isp banned from quakenet, how do i fudge it ?

my isp as been banned (bizonline aparently) from irc/quakenet so now when i want to pop into irc i have to disconnect my cheapo isp and use a 0845 isp, this sickens me, seeing as i am only sitting arround in irc chating....

so the question is ...........

HOW DO I GET ROUND IT ?

............ i should point out that i am a pleasent enuff sort of chap and have never been naughty in irc , i simply dont want to pay to sit arround discusiing clan tactics etc.

i also think its a bit OTT banning everyone on a isp, because of a few tossers

You have a few options open to you

first: you could spoof your ip thru a wingate, http://www.cyberarmy.com/lists/wingate/faq.shtml has a simple guide on how to do it, only problem is finding them,

second: you could use a webbased irc client like whiplash, many people use at work to get passed firewalls, it wont forward your ip so you should be fine using bizonline as your isp, have a go and see if it works@ http://schematic.org/whiplash/ replace the server with irc.uk.quakenet.eu.org.
