No - its only really been visible to the eye for a couple of days since its last brightening event and its been cold n cloudy :p

It's expected to break up at some point though so I must make an effort to see it.

I seen something last night, the sky was clear at first. This would have been around 5-6pm i'd imagine. Seen what started out at being a small star but then it's size went quite large and bright, then it went back to being a standard looking star again. Then it flared up again. At first i thought it was maybe a helicopter as it wasn't moving..I heard about Ison few days ago so it did pop into my mind. When i turned away though there was some dark cloud cover so i lost complete sight of it then.

Unsure really if it was the comet though, but it made sense.

In a couple of days it will no longer be visible to the naked eye.

that's right and if you have some luck I guess you can see Venus / Saturn too iirc.

Obligatory safety warning - its now getting pretty close to the position of the sun in the sky - you risk permanent blindness if you look at the sun through any kind of magnification so be careful.

If it makes it round isn't it suppose to be more visible in early Dec?

From the latest data on it I think it may well be breaking up which would be a shame :(

Gone - it was a bad sign when is started to outgas early in the week - just too unstable to survive.

Another comet survived a 10x closer pass at a mere 120km from the sun the other year but it had presumably survived earlier passes.

There is a later chapter though - the earth will pass very close to Ison's orbit in mid Jan when there's a slim possibility of a meteor shower or some noctilucent clouds - probably not though.
