ISO files???

hi all ..........

after a bit of help please peeps.....;)

well i D/L this big iso file thats is a game and i can install it ???
i've tryed 2 burn it usingnero then install it from the cd ...........still nothing ......narda..........zero ......

any idears dudes??????

I suspect that you have a crappy download there. I hope it wasnt too big, maybe try to get it again. I double hope it wasnt, erm, illegal??

In Nero, select from the menu 'Burn cd image', or something similar. In the dialogue that pops up, change the file filter from Nero's own format, to all, and select the iso image.

I'm assuming you burnt the file to the CD, wheras what you should do(as described above), is stick the image on the CD. Think of an iso image, as a cdrom as a file. You could mount the iso image, like you could mount a cd.

while im hear .......what is a good pc mag 2 buy so i can learn bits and bobs on the pc .....cause im new 2 the world of using a pc 2 work 4 me ......thanks;)

Why pay for monthly information of a low quality when you can get higher quality, quicker, and for free on the 'net?

Why people still insist on buying PC magazines is beyond me...

Sorry its not fucking crap, but the content is old and reviews are "politically correct" and 5 pounds is a fuckin disgrace imo (for any mag)

Idiot, the point is that a magazine offers you news and reviews that are available on the net faster, for cheaper, and of a higher quality.

By reading web pages you aren't stealing from magazine.

Bought PC Gamer today, didn't realise it was £4.99 til I had to pay for that on top of my lunch, ffs. I swear it was less than £3 when I used to buy it years ago :/

I don't buy PC magazines anymore at all, because of the availability of the information on that thar intraweb faster (although better is an arguable point). But if I did buy a magazine monthly, it would be PCF, because of it pretty much covers all bases with the witty articles, mildly helpful tutorials (not so much anymore because y'know, i'm great and don't need no steenkin' tutorials) et al. And if I was on 56k, I'd buy it for videos, demos, shareware, patches, etc...

I buy PCG monthly, mainly because I like reading it due to the editorial style, and the fact that my mate (Swiss/Jim Rossignol) works as the News Editor on it. He's usually roped into some daft photoshoot or other every other month, so it's a good source of piss-taking for us in XPd :D

been a fiver for as long as i remember (since the JK guide anyway which was when i started reading). perhaps it was PCZone you were thinking of mank?
