ISDN and AOL

Has anyone had more than usual trouble with an ISDN(BT H/H) connected to AOL.
Earlier this year, on a 56k modem, I was getting connection speeds of 45000-48000bps, then it dropped to 36000 about 2 months ago.
I had a Home Highway installation carried out today and it now connects at 14400. I tried another ISP and connected at 64000 as expected
But the biggest beef of all is that my system disconnects ALL THE TIME!!! at anything from 2 mins to 15 mins. The disconnection code is always the same ""41" temporary failure"
Please help as I'm paying about £15.00 per month for unlimited access and want to know whether to carry on with it or change my ISP.

anything but aol :)
hehe thats almost true tbh.generally the pay per minute ones offer the best results,i.e barrysworld (when it comes back) or jolt or i use a eurobell account, mostly soc no many other ppl do.
for unlimited access ones bt anytime is as good/bad as any other imo.doubtless other ppl will have opinions on this, but its down to the amount of money you want spend.i find bt is ok on avarage 4/5 days a week, with a couple of days of packet loss.on them days i use eurobell,or barrys when it comes back!
hope this helps a bit !

Thanks Throdgrain, I'll have a look at your suggestions. I'm really looking forward to the BW Dialup coming back as I joined BW as the dialup fell over and I would like to compare it with the others.:)
