I don't think so ... I never liked the look of the artwork at the other site, this is maybe too green, but still looks better.
Edit: and its still inside that stupid frameset, at least get rid of that, that was the worst thing about the old forums (well that and the fact that it was using mysql, and so used to be uber slow, and fall down as soon as a lot of people tried to look at it, something i suspect will also be a problem on the new copycat forums).
And the main thing is that most of the ppl are here, whats the point moving to a site where no one else is?
The decorations don't really matter, as long as I can crow about spotting Mad from half way across the bowl and then smacking him down, somewhere where he will read it.
(btw, put more points into stealth Mad, you need it).

Cable, I appreciate you want to tell the world your new found love, but I want to keep this forum usuable for the people that want to stay here. If you are worth your salt at all, you'd want to do the same for that forum. Which means clearing away the dead foliage to let the real things grow.
If you can't see beyond an aesthetic to the actual people and community as well, then I can't value your opinion either. It seems that the aesthetic so far seems to be the main selling point that has been thrown at the potential market. How about love of the game? Dedication? So far I see a flaunted lack of green and a bid to attach itself to the familiarity of people. I am not paid by Barrysworld, nor GOA, and so I moderate these forums out of a desire to help the community, and I can't help but feel slightly aggrieved that people seem to be trying to deliberately undermine that. If you value this "new" forum so highly, then you should understand the etiquette of forums. Which includes not spamming or deliberately trying to draw away users. Regardless of whether you see Barrysworld as the Big Bad Evil for whatever reason, it is just plain politeness to adhere to these rules of etiquette. If you respect the game, then you should respect the community, wherever they are.
I don't like deleting threads, or locking them, because I don't like stilting conversation or controlling opinion, but you seem to have neither an opinion nor an angle, just simply a tag line and a url, and a desire to stamp them everywhere. And why I say you I mean everyone who has opened new threads purely with the objective of fragmenting this community on Barrysworld. I wish your forum all the best, because I do see time, effort and passion has gone into it, but I cannot and will not tolerate my forum being compromised into passive advertisement. That Is Not Why We Are Here. We are here to answer questions, share tales, help each other out, roleplay, and build a sense of community.

I'm hardly dreaded; I am level 18 and I think I designed myself very badly and one of legs is longer than the other. I seem only to go in circles and I didn't put all my stats in the right place to be a power player. So I'll probably see you, bear my teeth in a heroic yet fool hardy fashion and then die, or else (worse!) be left to live because I'm harmless. The indignity!
So if nobody is going to respond to my questions above, then I say we go back to what was intended; you guard your realms my friends and I'll go train in mine. And lets hope we can keep this place for what it what intended; teeth bearing, chest bashing, and tales of tragedy or noble fighting. See you on the battle field!

Hmmm .. why am "I" here?
Because, despite the green colour, I think this forum is really taking off. It definitely seems to be well supported by Exc/Hib people, people posting frequently show a sense of humour, flames only occur in a minority of threads, and it really IS starting to feel like a community.

So .. lvl 18 eh?? And when might you be venturing to Emain? I would love to get my first personal kill (not that easy as a bard). Nothing personal you realise.

How stupid are you people that accuse others of spamming a simple question was asked, if you fail to see that then fine dont take it out on the people that try to help.
