It's reasonably rare - generally have to camp black wraiths for ages to get one to drop - and it's sought after because it has a very nice imbue utility (60 if you count the +power, 48 if you just count the resists) for getting the most out of spellcrafted armour. It's not as valuable as it used to be, however, as gems can drop in HyBrasil that are better. You can still probably sell it for at least 500g or, even better, give it to a friendly mage who needs it.

It's been sat in my vault and available to guidlies for free for some weeks now, no1 was interested so it's now for sale for crafting cash I'm sure you can understand that

From reading the US VN boards, this Jewel becomes VERY hard to get in later patches.
