Just to pass the time
The other day I was on a server playing cs on the assault map.Im standing by the back of the big container with 100 health and 100 armour. A bloke leans out of the window of the building opposite and shoots me with 1 shot from the better of the two shotguns.Im dead.
Now I suspected this bloke but i dont shout "cheat" all the time cos its very boring, but whaddya think?

Firstly, by 'better of the 2 shotguns' do you mean the one that only fires one round at a time ?? I presume you do... also, I wouldn't think one shot to the chest would kill you, especially if you have bought the kevlar... was he shooting from above you ? If so, it's possible some of the pellets hit yer head & the rest finished you off... dunno really... that shotty is powerful...

If it is not normally possible then it suggests a type of cheat I have not heard of before.

WH may have allowed him to know you were there, aimbot would have allowed him to hit you without aiming, but I have not heard of a cheat that increases the damage done by each shot.

Of course, just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I am no expert on cheats

the only reason i asked, it was seen on q2 sometimes, ppl would shoot you once where it should take 3 and you'd be dead, so i didnt know whether it was possible on cs .

Its unlikely that a blast from a SHOTTEH (TM) would kill a person with 100hp and 100 armour at that distance.

i think you might be over reacting, not saying this person wasn't a cheat but he could have been.

it's possible that he hit you twice in the head, your gonna be dead aint ya. just thinking if he used the second shottie he could have fired the first one at your chest and the second hit your head cause' of recoil, hapens very often.

dont think just cause' someone made a dogey shot they are a cheat, i use a lot of tactical knowledge to win games, example learning camping places and going for them, but i always get called a cheat for doing it ARGH... n00bs

Assuming we mean the M3, then yes it's possable. The pellets tend to have a very helpful spread, so it's possable to hit people in the body and ehad at teh same time. And yes, at one time i used to pop round corners and HS people with my M3, and then laugh as they used phrases similar to Jas' CSLamer ones
