Question is this bracer worth the hassle...

ive been looking for bracer's to use instead of Bracelet of springtime folly, and i found this one:

Right Wrist (Cursed Crypt Bracer):
Imbue: 33.0
Energy: 6%
Matter: 6%
Crush: 6%
Thrust: 6%
Slash: 6%
Hits: 24
Utility: 66.0
TOA Utility: 0.0
PvE Utility: 0.0

but apparently it takes a bout 20 mins just to get to the mob through the catacombs and the drops rate is rare to. has anybody tried getting this before?? I cant fork out 30 p for bracers etc

getting to it isnt a problem tbh, mainly yellowe with a few oranges (2 x 50's).

LoS is a major bug though, using my cabby to focus mobs was awfull as you'd get aggro from 2 levels i noticed.

The mob spawns tons of yellow con mobs aswell as 2-3 red guards aswell, easy to duo id imagine, but i always get ownd by the mass yellow con zerg

I farmed it on excal years ago , took about 27 runs of the dungeon iirc. The only plus point was the all the aurulite you get but the dungeon is a right pain with los issues and getting agro from different levels as mauness said.

Why not use:

Agramon's Demon Soul Crafted Bracer? The stats are:
Magical Bonuses:
Heat Resist: 6%
Hits: 44 pts
Energy Resist: 6%
Constitution: 15 pts
Cold Resist: 6%
Spirit Resist: 6%
Item Bonuses:
Hit Points bonus cap: 44

Now when you compare them to the bracer of springtime folly:
Magical Bonuses:
Constitution: 22 pts
Cold Resist: 6%
Matter Resist: 6%
Spirit Resist: 6%
Hits: 50 pts
Heat Resist: 6%
Item Bonuses:
Hit Points bonus cap: 50

Agramons bracer is a OTD that the whole group killing him get and has very similar stats. You could even just use agramon's bracer until you have saved up enough for the folly one.

ah i was hoping they may have changed it to make it easier like ToA

thats a good shout cadelin think ill go for that.

ill get 2 ebon hide bracer's from that piss easy quest till then as its got some sweet resists and sells good

Catacombs is a buggy nightmare overall - many posts on VN about borked drop rates of a number of popular items, so beware!
