Is this a crafting bug?

My fletching is stuck at 444.

I gained skill from 310 to 444 yesterday getting very regular skill increases, probably one every 3 or 4 makes. Then suddenly nothing in about 300 makes.

Fletching is my lowest skill, and i think the increases stopped when woodworking reached the level of my main skill.

Is this the way it's supposed to work or is it a bug?

if fletching is not your main skill , it can only be raised to 75% of your main crafting skill ( tailoring , weaponcrafting what ever )

Hmm, its 39.9% of my main skill. I guess there could be a 40% cap.

Well the maths say your main skill is probably slightly below 600 ?

If so, you've reached the cap, yes.

If you are a weapon or armor crafter its stuck at 40%.

Yup, if your main skill is weaponcrafting of armorcrafting, then the cap for fletching is 40%.
