is there any chance for mez to "crit"?

No.

Well, there are RAs that decrease casting time and active RAs that decrease chance of resists on a target. ~shrug~

No, read in a grab bag Mezzes cannot crit, neither can roots. They are either on or off. But grab bags have been wrong before :p
Just never seen a mezz crit (those few I got off before elite instant mezz).

No effect with a 'duration' can ever crit.

Or at least that's the basic rule....

There are exceptions and RAs to give crits - but none apply to crowd control.

Only way to increase mez duration is to debuff the target. Or spec higher.

Or get a better flute if you are a mincer.

Mezz, root and stun can't crit, they are binery on or off.

But snare debuffs and other duration based spells can crit with wild arcana for 100%.
So 35 snare will become 70% snare, 30 debuff becomes 60debuff etc..
