Is the Interweb a bit screwy today ?

Hello there folks,
is the interwebnet a bit fucked up today I ma having terrible trouble getting connected to even yahoo, the beeb is ok but many sites aer just timing out?

It would appear that it was the satellite modem or the router that was a bit screwy. I just thought it strange as I could ping, trace route, use ping plotter to get to sites but explorer was just in a loop.
looking for site, site found, waiting for reply come back 5 mins later 'still waiting'
