Is Lost Gem of the Dwarven King quest broken??

Lost Gem of the Dwarven King.

As one point you have to search in Delling Crater for the chest, myself and 2 friends spent 45 minute getting the 'you search for the lost chest' message, and nothing.

Some of the quests don't work before patch 1.60.
It could be one of them, but i don't know...

A group of three did it not long ago. I had to run around in the crater for awhile (looking quite stupid ), while the others found it right away.
It's bugged alright, but it works.. in the end

So you run around the WHOLE crater, or just to the bit where you get the 'you search for XXX' messages?

Did that for 10 minutes, nothing.

Sat in place for another 40 minutes, kept getting the 'you search for the chest' message, but nothing.

I suspect its been broken in the last mini-patch.
