is leveling always this boring?

my chars are only lvl 6 and 7 at the moment and just wandering does it EVER get more interesting? cos i dont find standing around killing stuff over and over and over for hours fun.. and sure theres rvr later but thats a looooongg way away it seems.... just wandering

Seriously, the whole system is based around exp'ing and it only gets worse.

Also, MYTHIC have been kind by making all high level mob skins just larger versions of level 5 mobs so there is little danger of you fighting a new and exciting mob.

My advice is stick with it though because RvR does rock and beneath all the crap is actually a damn fun game. Exp'ing only gets fun when you're in a kick ass group and you laugh every minute by some stupid comment.

Find a good guild and exp with people that make you laugh, that's the only way you'll not kill yourself in frustration.

hehe yea spose thanks was just a little annoyed after not being grouped in ages but later found some decent peeps who didnt mind thta i was a shade and a lvl lower than em so all worked out and hit lvl 7 lol

why dont people like grouping with shades? lol i was doing around the same dmg as a level 8 spear hero me being lvl 7 hehe well not individual hits but because of the speed cos the aggro tended to be split between us i did die a few times over an hour or something though and also i can pull with that spell.. (cant remember name lol) lesser light or somegthing lol

I don't understand it myself, there is a thread on the other sever forums that balmes the whole situation on healers not buffing us for some reason

I think it's because there are classes out there that don't die as easily as us. We tend to get aggro because of our damage output and the support classes waste needed mana keeping us alive which they would rather use on the main tanks.

Which is kinda true.....

Cere is right though - having a guild/regular bunch of friends makes a lot of difference. They can make the most tedious xp sessions so funny if you can find nice people.

Also, guilds will pass you old equipment, answer your questions, and stuff like this so I would recommend finding one as soon as you can. Play with them a bit first to see if they suit your style as all guilds are different. Also make sure they have some members at your level so you can get a group more easily.

If you have a guild they can begin to introduce you to the fun that is eating dirt in emain - RvR. Its a big frontier and having someone who can show you the way makes life a lot easier. Also guilds will be able to tell you when specific RvR things are happening, like 'middies are attacking Crimthainn now' or we Hibbies are planning a relic raid for Saturday morning and so on.(this may only apply to the biggest guild alliance tho)

i have lvl with a NS called zanzara i noticed that she sometimes pulled the agro from me and could here there little luri cry

To anyone only there we need NS if noone group with them because they think they do little damage think again

I had to convinced groups to group with zanzara and i have always tried to get her in a group if there is space

If there is a fighter type with a spare protect put it on the NS

Nightshades can do a good amount of damage and help the others of the group with their poison, so group with nightshades because we also need them in RvR to climb the walls and to detect those midgard stealthers.
