Call me a pervert but i'd swear the majority of active healers in midgard are women.

Of course, i don't really care as long as

- Sombody holds my hand in emain so i don't get afraid of the dark

- I get my PoM

- I can make train noises when stuck to the zerg leader

Then i'm happy, just hope all these women don't get too jelious of my uber group heals, etc

You're not the only one that've noticed that think you're the only male human healer I've seen.. The opposite applies to dwarves tho.. all dwarf healers are males and the only female dwarf healer I've seen is Isa

Hmm well considering that the most active healers in Red Guard at the moment by RP are me and Poppamies, both norsemen. I'd tend to disagree with you.

However saying that, a few months agos I was always surrounded by my female colleagues in RvR. Cutting edge had a load of them and now they have headed for pvp...

well, considering that healers dont have styles, so NO bonus to hit, they are evaded like crazy. one evade -> dragonfang. thrust infiltrators (and to some extent shield tanks) are the only problem for healers.

Yeah, they live much longer if they just stand there, CC, heal, instaheal, etc, etc... Has taken me over 10 minutes to kill a solo healer before.

was just thinking about tactics, actually MAP 22/31/38 healer has some chances against infiltrator. insta mezz/stun, heal himself, root infi for 1 min (to get rid of immunity timer on mezz/stun), cast celerity, stun infi for 11 seconds and hit him, then just wait till you are low on health (infi will receive dmg from dmg shield ^^), rinse, repeat. you can do this four times and still have two instas up
ip, fa, purge, vanish make a lot of difference, so we will wait till 1.56, mwahaha ^^

Can't be left rooted for 1 minute cos 10 seconds = stealthing time.

Heh, i`m n00b compared to you pin, but best way to deal with healers - take them mid-cast. Otherwise its kinda disconcerning to blew purge just to be treated by another insta.

Errrrr, of course you can stealth while rooted. The only cases when you can't stealth are when mezzed/stunned (can't do anything except hit purge), too close to an enemy or taking damage (within the last 10 seconds).

And well, healers don't pose any problems for me in normal encounters, this was more of a no-PA-start, duel-type situation.

Erm, prolly some bug than - was caught into root a couple of times and could not stealth resulting in a couple of arrows sticking from my arse.

debuff won't reset the stealth timer

you can stealth whilst rooted - but not if you've _just_ been rooted (it's like being hit with anything else, sets you in combat so the stealth timer kicks in)

Yeah, all the debuffs that were made instant were also changed so they can't interupt spells.

Even i can understand how overpowered an insta on a 5sec timer is

I'm male and I play a female healer. My main is character is 50 Warrior which is male. It's probably sexist, but I chose the male char as a bloke because I couldn't picture a warrior being female. It's the same with my healer (only 35 at the mo). I chose a female char because I couldn't picture a male character casting spells that don't do damage.

Kind of like Mother Nature. I dunno, maybe I'm just gay though...
