I'm gonna feel buttfucked for days for having a guy come and spend 15min on switching a box, drawing a cable and giving me a Motorola Sufeboard, and plugging in the cable. But hell thats life if you wanna get on cable in Denmark.

Chance of plans !

The damn modem is working but the ISP forgot to tjeck if I could recive the bloody signal. So now im sitting at school again, with out I-net at home - waiting and prying that its going to work.

Nope it was Galnet

and they found out what the problem was (after 14days), even though im getting material about cabeltv and such from Galnet im not on galnet. The materials I got is wrong, and it looks like im on something called Bosch Kabel. And they have said no to upgrade their transmitter stations to include a Return-system so its not posible to get Cabel modem.

So 10 points to Galnet from Gromnir for sending materials and selling me something they dosent have. Good thing is they said I could get my money back.

So now I have to find me a phone company get a telephone and an ADSL line.

TDC bredbånd offers phone + 512/256 ADSL line for 550 dkr a month and then you ofcourse have to pay for any normal use of the phone besides that.

My brother has it and it runs really nice and stable, never had any problems except during installation. Problem is tho, that you have to pay more if you want a router connected as well.

Personally I have CyberCity, which is has been nice but thru the last 2 months or so pretty shite. They're upgrading backbone atm tho so somewhere around december it should be back to it's old self.

I would most likely recommend TDC tho, as both cybercity and I think orange have given up trying to compete, since they have to rent their way into TDCs copper they can never make a decent profit, and in the end that will most likely start to hurt their consumers.

When I move to a new apartment I will for sure get rid of CyberCity and switch to TDC.

Just been reading though all the danish adsl ISP's (if you can called them that) and it seems TDC and Tele2 is the only "cheap" guys on the marked. So like you said ragna 550kr for a 512/128 non-router line including a phone line (where I paided 369kr for a 512/128 on TDC webSpeed cabel ).

So if the GF dosent kill me or something i'll ordre such a line some time this week.


GOD DAMN I MISS THE INTERNET ... the GF dosent since she get more time with me now that im not constandly in midgard or on mIRC.
