Hi!

I've been reading up on the game, what I've read so far seems alright, just very very confusing.

I take it that there is no PvP in the majority of areas? and those area's that you can PVP in are instanced at the moment, but maybe "frontiers" style area might be opened to allow people to PVP in?

I dont really get it at all at the moment, it seems like its guild based war rather than realm based in DAoC, but I'm kinda confused about alot of this.

I've read a few reviews but they all go on about how the attacking works in vague ways, could someone tell me what the game is like in terms that an ex-DAoCer will understand?

I've been pondering getting it just for something to do - DAoC seems dead, I vowed long ago never to play WoW, so this seems about the only thing currently worth looking at.

Also, from what I've seen people are saying they're lvl 20 after just three hours ingame? is that right? Is it that fast levelling? sounds like it might be a bit refreshing after the old DAoC grind

Any information much appreciated, as I say I've read various websites about the game but it all seems to be very vague so far.

20 after 3 hours? unlikely for the average human. Took me all day Sunday so about 8 hours and I didn`t mess about, maybe you could half that if you really new what you were doing?

The game is good fun I and my guildies are enjoying it

If you level up by following the destiny plot line by doing its quests and other quests in between, i would say getting to level 20 would take at least 20 hours of pure gaming, maybe more if you take your time to explore. At least it did for me. Even if I knew where to go etc. After that, once the world opens up and you're more free to roam, it also felt like the levels came a little slower. I honestly have no idea how people are right now level 50+ after only a few days. They must be some kind of freaks. Or maybe the retail client is a lot "faster" than the beta client was.
