Is hL 2 out today

I got this email from a friend today

We got a new ATi 9800XT
256MB card complete with Half Life 2. its only £359 + Vat
It has a link to a website that allows you to download it and you get a
scratch card in the box that has the serial number on it


any1 else heard this ?

Ask him if he's actually able to download it yet or does the voucher say it'll be available for download when it's released?

This sounds like a "purchase the card and get a voucher for the game when it's released".

when you show me a picture of the cd, and screenies ingame doing something I describe to you (jump off a house down to a grenade for instance screenied by a mate so I see the player model) THEN ill believe you and eat my bowler

no.. you dont get hl2.

even tecnation says you dont.

you get access to the Premium something or other, in teh mean time - then when its released, a copy of hl2
