Is DAoC playable on Dialup?

I played a little in Beta 3 & 4, but never joined any RvR as my computer had some problem with the software and crashed all the time. So I think its time to go get the game now and give it a shoot.. Im finally getting tired of AC

But, the question is.. Is it playable on 56k DialUp?

Or will I be doomed to solo hunt all the time, and wont be able to be any good in RvR?

It's playable. Lots of people use 56K modems without any major problems.

Great, and hopefully it will do some diff to play against a european server compared to AC's US servers.. Now I just need to go get a copy then =)
